The family of Tyron Lubarbio Miculob, a rider who met a tragic fate, is seeking justice after the driver of an SUV who hit him in Sucat, Muntinlupa, has not yet made an appearance since the incident on July 10, 2026.

"We continuously appeal to the Councilor. We hope you can help us. It has been since July 10 when the accident happened and we haven't heard anything from that Councilor. My brother will be buried this Sunday, and there is still no justice. We hope you can assist us with our plea," said Aya Miculob, the victim's sister, in an interview with Taguig.com.

She stated that according to the police report, the driver of the SUV is a female Barangay Councilor from Taguig who has not shown herself to them since her brother was taken to the hospital.

On the other hand, the SUV driver's relatives stated that she is traumatized by the incident but has communicated with the family regarding any possible assistance she could provide.

Nevertheless, the family of the deceased 36-year-old rider wants the driver to personally face them and bring justice to the untimely death of their loved one.

Miculob will be laid to rest tomorrow, July 19, 2026, at 12:00 noon at The Heritage Memorial Park, following a Mass at the Sto. Niño de Taguig Parish Church.

He leaves behind his wife and an 8-year-old child.
