Four individuals were arrested inside the house, which served as the drug den in Barangay Palingon-Tipas, around 8:45 in the evening.
In a joint operation by the Southern Police District-SDO and Taguig City Police Sub-station 5, those arrested were an individual known as 'June', a 52-year-old vendor suspected of drug dealing; 'Michael', a 42-year-old painter caught using illegal drugs; along with 'Joy', a 44-year-old vegetable vendor, and 'Maribel', a 44-year-old seamstress.
Seized from these individuals were 40 grams of methamphetamine, valued at ₱272,000.00, a genuine ₱1,000 bill, 39 pieces of ₱1,000 play money, and a confiscated .38 revolver with two bullets.
The suspects will face charges for violation of Section 5,6 and 13 under Article II of RA 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
