Land Transportation Safety Month is being celebrated in Taguig City.
Taguig Mayor Lani Cayetano expressed her gratitude to the drivers for their crucial role in safely transporting passengers to their destinations.
"We continuously urge everyone using the roads - be responsible, alert, and disciplined at all times," Cayetano stated on her social media account, following the flag-raising ceremony at Taguig City Hall.
The ceremony also honored outstanding Barangays through the Lupong Tagapamayapa Incentive Awards (LTIA).
The honored Barangays include:
Brgy. North Daang Hari
Brgy. Lower Bicutan
Brgy. Post Proper Southside
Brgy. Pitogo
"The role of our peacemakers in maintaining order in our community is significant. They strengthen understanding, unity, and peace in every Barangay," the mayor further stated.
