The competition aimed to showcase the prowess of students with disabilities in the field of information and communication technology (ICT) skills through practical assessments.

This project was a collaboration between the city government of Taguig, the Department of Education Taguig-Pateros Division (DepEd TaPat), and the National Council on Disability Affairs (NCDA).

The students faced three assessments in the competition: eLifemap (Web browsing), eTool Excel, and eTool PowerPoint.

The children's abilities were evaluated based on accuracy and speed in computer use.

In a message from Taguig City Mayor Lani Cayetano, she emphasized that talented students, despite their disabilities, have the capability to elevate their knowledge and pursue careers in ICT.

"It is essential to expand connectivity, access information, and develop skills necessary for jobs and starting businesses. Hence, it is crucial for students to acquire these skills to keep up and seize opportunities in our contemporary society and economy," the mayor stated.
