The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), in collaboration with Google, is offering free education aimed at promoting digital careers.

DTI and Google have launched the Career Certification Program, designed to train students in digital technology and expand their knowledge in this field.

The free program includes six courses that can be studied at your own pace and on your chosen day through Coursera:

- Data Analytics
- User Experience (UX) Design
- Project Management
- IT Support/ IT Automation
- Digital Marketing & E-commerce, and
- Cybersecurity

Owners of small businesses who wish to digitize their operations, their employees, and staff are welcome to join. Women, out-of-school youth, persons with disabilities, senior citizens, and individuals who are unemployed or underpaid can also participate.

The only requirements are that participants must be at least 18 years old, Filipino, and a resident of the Philippines, willing to finish the course within the set timeframe, and have a gadget or computer at home with an internet connection.

Since the program's slots are limited, those who register must undergo an assessment process to determine if they meet the training requirements.
