Taguig City offers an Online Speech Program for Children with Disabilities, providing an opportunity for children with speech impairments to practice and improve their speech skills while at home.
Created in partnership with the Yakap Center, this program uses an app called Mylo Speech Buddy.

Mylo Speech Buddy is an award-winning Speech Development System designed to help children with speech delays or those who are still unable to speak in spite of reaching the appropriate age, particularly those on the autism spectrum.
The app was developed by parents of children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and further improved by individuals experienced in preschool and special education.
Mylo is also backed by Speech Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, and medical professionals to ensure that its activities genuinely address the needs of children with disabilities.
The Mylo app won Gold in the 2024 Stevie Awards for "Tech Startup of the Year - Software" and also clinched Gold as "New Product of the Year - Educational Tech."
Those on the waiting list for speech therapy at the Taguig Yakap Center, as well as their parents and guardians who will serve as learning partners, are eligible to use the Mylo app.
This online program runs for a year and can be accessed by children as many times as needed.
The Mylo app can be downloaded for free and accessed via a QR code from Taguig's Yakap Center.

The QR code can be obtained in person at the Taguig Yakap Center located at Calzada Community, corner Bambang ni Peles Street, Purok 5, Barangay Calzada-Tipas, Taguig City.
The Yakap Center will verify and provide access with a QR code, and the parent or guardian will enter the information. Scan and pair the QR code, and the Mylo app is ready for use.
