Starting July 4, 2026, InstaPay transfers from Rizal Commercial Banking Corp. (RCBC) to other banks will be free of charge. This comes after the Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI) began offering free InstaPay and PESOnet transfers from July 1, 2026.
At RCBC, only InstaPay transfers via its online banking platform Pulz and digital banking app DiskarTech will be free.
Free transfers on Pulz are limited to the first 30 InstaPay transactions each month, with a minimum transfer of ₱100, according to RCBC.
On the other hand, Diskartech's free InstaPay transfers have no limitations up to ₱50,000 per transaction.
InstaPay is a real-time electronic fund transfer system launched by the Central Bank of the Philippines in 2018, allowing banking customers to transfer their funds quickly.
Both banks stated that their action is in compliance with BSP Circular No. 1238, s. 2026, which encourages financial institutions to provide reasonable and fair pricing for electronic fund transfers.
