The Department of Science and Technology - Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Administration (DOST-PAGASA) has launched a mobile app that can help users keep up-to-date with the latest weather conditions. This initiative coincides with the observance of Typhoon and Flood Awareness Week from June 14 to 20, 2026.

The PANaHON mobile app provides near real-time information on weather; location alerts, tropical cyclone bulletins, warnings for impending rain, flood reports, and weather forecasts that can be quickly viewed on a mobile device.

In the meantime, the theme for Typhoon and Flood Awareness Week is "Typhoons, Floods, Let's Be Prepared!"
Included in DOST-PAGASA's activities are the Kapit-Kaalaman Conversations, MAAGAP Seminar to prepare the community for disasters, and other public information campaigns.
