PAGASA spotted the developing weather disturbance at 2:00 PM on July 31, 2025, and estimates it may become a typhoon within the next 24 hours.

Meanwhile, the southwest monsoon continues to bring rain to Luzon and Visayas, particularly in the following areas: Ilocos Region, Batanes, Babuyan Islands, Apayao, Abra, Benguet, Zambales, Bataan, Nueva Ecija, Tarlac, and Pampanga.

Scattered rainfall will also be experienced in Metro Manila, the remaining parts of Luzon, and Visayas due to the southwest monsoon.

Mindanao, on the other hand, will be cloudy with scattered rainfall.

PAGASA warns of the possibility of landslides and flooding in areas affected by the monsoon.
