Yet another minor has been rescued by the Taguig City Police from the illegal drug trade.

According to the report from Taguig City Police, a 17-year-old boy attempted to conduct a transaction with their agent, planning to sell suspected methamphetamine, commonly known as shabu.
The authorities seized 15 grams of the suspected illegal drug, valued at ₱102,000, from the child in conflict with the law (CICL) during a buy-bust operation on July 15, 2026, at 6:00 PM on Cardones Street, Barangay Central Signal, Taguig City.
The operation was conducted by the Taguig City Police in coordination with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA).
Three heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets were recovered from the minor, allegedly containing 15 grams of the suspected shabu.
The minor was informed by the police about the reason for his rescue, in the presence of his parents.
The minor has been entrusted to the care of social welfare authorities.
