In an Instagram post, R'Bonney expressed her joy at returning to the Philippines but was surprised by the intense heat, having arrived the other day when the temperature in Metro Manila reached 40 degrees Celsius.
"After a 16-hour flight with my overstuffed suitcase, I made it here! Y'all said it was hot, but I'm not sure if I packed right for this heat," R'Bonney posted on her Instagram account @rbonneynola
R'Bonney also shared photos and videos on Instagram wearing an all-black outfit, including a short blazer of her own design, while walking around Bonifacio Global City in Taguig City.
R'Bonney was crowned Miss Universe in 2022 after representing America. The 28-year-old, hailing from Texas, USA, made history by becoming the first Filipina-American to win the titles of Miss Texas and Miss USA.
R'Bonney's father is Filipino, Remigio Bonzon "R.Bon" Gabriel, from Malate, and her mother is Dana Walker of Beaumont, Texas.
