A new barangay office and an extension of the services of Taguig City Hall are now available in Barangay South Signal, Taguig City.
The Magsaysay Multipurpose Building, a three-storey structure in the said barangay, was formally inaugurated on April 12, 2025.
Simultaneously, 99 new streetlights were installed throughout Barangay South Signal.
The new facility now houses the offices of the Barangay Chairman, the Kagawad, Secretary, Treasurer, and Security Force of Barangay South Signal.
Satellite offices for the Persons with Disabilities Affairs Office (PDAO), Office for Senior Citizens Affairs (OSCA), and a local branch of the Bureau of Fire Protection have also been established.
The building also features two Day Care Centers and a playground, along with a community playing court.
Taguig City Mayor Lani Cayetano expressed her gratitude to Senator Alan Cayetano, Vice Mayor Arvin Alit, the City Council, Liga ng mga Barangay President Jorge Daniel Bocobo, and the Department of Public Works and Highways for their contributions to the construction of the new facility.
"We are especially grateful to our taxpayers because with their taxes, we are able to launch programs that change our communities and improve the lives of our citizens. This is part of our vision to be a transformative, lively, and caring city - intensifying our programs for peace and order for safer barangays and homes, and to streamline our transactions with the programs for each Taguigeño," stated Cayetano.
