The suspect, known as "Mike," 48 years old, was caught with ₱156,000 worth of suspected shabu after he sold it to undercover buyers on MLQ Street, Barangay New Lower Bicutan, Taguig City, at 9:00 PM on Thursday.
The Taguig Station Drug Enforcement Unit confiscated seven small plastic bags containing crystalline substances, weighing 23 grams, from the suspect.
They also recovered the P500 used for the purchase of the illegal drugs, a wallet, and an Android phone.
"Mike" is facing charges for violating Sections 5 and 11 of Article II of Republic Act 9165, also known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
The Taguig City Police stated that they will not cease their operations, especially as communities need to be safe during the Christmas celebrations.
