"The initiative aims to ensure a sustainable fish population in Laguna de Bay and provide long-term livelihood opportunities for fisherfolk who rely on the lake as their primary source of income. By replenishing fish stocks, the program helps improve the productivity of local fishing grounds, increase potential harvests, and support the economic well-being of fishing communities," ang pahayag ng Taguig City Agriculture Office.

Ang pagpapakalat din ng mga fingerlings ay isang kontribusyon sa pagpapanatili ng malusog na sitwasyon ng lawa.

"The fingerling dispersal also contributes to environmental conservation efforts by helping maintain the ecological balance of Laguna de Bay. The regular release of fingerlings supports the replenishment of aquatic resources, promotes biodiversity, and encourages the sustainable management of one of the country's most important inland fishing grounds," dagdag pa ng agriculture office ng Taguig.

Kabilang sa lumahok sa pagpapakalat ng milkfish fingerlings ay ang Committee on Food, Agriculture and Fisheries Chairman na si Councilor Lamberto "Totong" Mañosca, City Agriculture Office head Emelita Solis, 12 presidente ng Barangay Fisheries and Aquatic Resources Management Councils (BFARMCs), at ang mga mangingisda ng Taguig.
