Nagtagal ng apat at kalahating minuto ang pagsabog na ito batay sa obserbasyon ng Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismologu (Phivolcs).
"The event consisted of three pulses that produced jets of dark gray ash and steam-rich plumes that rose 1,200 meters above the crater before drifting to the southwest," ang pahayag ng Phivolcs.
Nananatili naman sa Alert Level ang Bulkang Taal.
