Candles will simultaneously be lit at the Heroes' Cemetery in Fort Bonifacio, Taguig City on October 31, 2023, at 4:00 pm to pay tribute to all the heroes buried there.
According to the Philippine Army, the Heroes' Cemetery began to open for visiting relatives and friends on October 27.
The Heroes' Cemetery is open from October 27 to October 30 from 6:00 am until 6:00 pm.
On October 31, it will open from 6:00 am until 8:00 pm.
From November 1 to 2, it will be open from 6:00 am until 8:00 pm.
Coming to November 3 and 4, it will open from 6:00 am until 6:00 pm.
The Army reminded that drones, pets, gambling, scandalous noise, poisonous and flammable items, alcohol, and even picking flowers and plants in the surroundings are prohibited.
The Heroes' Cemetery is the final resting place for former Presidents of the country, soldiers who fought in World War II, Medal of Valor awardees, Secretary of National Defense, Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP), personnel of the AFP, dignitaries, statesmen, National Artists, and scientists of the Philippines.
