Despite the closure of its route in Metro Manila for the construction of the North-South Commuter Railway (NSCR), the Philippine National Railways (PNR) continues its journeys.

Starting Monday, April 1, 2024, the PNR resumed its operations, running trips to and from Lucena, Quezon Province to Calamba, Laguna.

The Calamba - Lucena route departs at 5:45 PM while the Lucena - Calamba route departs at 5:00 AM.

There are also scheduled trips from Naga to Sipocot, Camarines Sur at 5:20 AM and 10:40 AM.

The return trip from Sipocot to Naga is at 6:40 AM.

There are also trips from Naga to Legazpi, Albay at 5:38 AM and the return trip from Legazpi to Naga is at 5:45 AM.

In the meantime, the PNR is in need of additional personnel. Their requirements are listed in the art cards below:
