Twelve employers from various companies collaborated with the Persons with Disabilities Affairs Office (PDAO) and Public Employment Service Office (PESO), to interview the applicants.

The applicants expressed their gratitude to everyone who helped provide them the opportunity to find employment.

According to one applicant from Barangay South Signal, Flordeliza Asedillo, she has been applying for jobs since 2017 but is often not accepted due to her disability and lack of experience.

The PDAO stated that PWDs have the right to be given job opportunities - fair and decent opportunities to advance.

They also need to receive equal treatment at their workplaces and their salaries, privileges, and benefits should be the same as those of workers without disabilities.
