Remains interred in the Taguig City Public Cemetery (TCPC), also known as the Serenity Cemetery in Barangay San Miguel, Taguig since 2019 and earlier are scheduled for exhumation on July 2 or 3, 2026.

This announcement follows recent posts from various barangays in Taguig City relaying the call from the City Social Welfare and Development Office (CSWDO) that the mass exhumation will commence 15 days from the announcement posted on June 18, 2026.

The CSWDO is calling on relatives or representatives of the deceased to coordinate with Maricar C. Gabin, the Supervising Administrative Officer/Pollution Control Officer of CSWDO of Taguig before the day of the mass exhumation.

This is to verify the records of the deceased and to arrange the retrieval, relocation, or disposal of the remains of those buried in the said public cemetery.

It was also clarified that the Hagonoy Catholic Cemetery is different from the TCPC.

According to an interviewee of Taguig.com, it is common for visitors of TCPC to mistakenly enter the Hagonoy Cemetery. The TCPC is reportedly located at the end.
