Seven minors were rescued from online sexual abuse in Taguig City through the collaboration of the Philippine National Police and the Women and Children Protection Desk (WCPD)-Taguig.
The seven children were saved in an entrapment operation against their own mother and grandmother who were selling them for online sexual abuse in Barangay Calzada-Tipas on September 3, 2025, at 9:20 pm.

Based on preliminary investigations, the mother of the victims recorded explicit videos of the children and sold them online to foreigners for a price of P2,500 per transaction.
Allegedly, she was in collusion with her own 19-year-old child who also forced her 3-year-old child, the grandchild of the primary suspect, to perform indecent acts on camera.
The two suspects were arrested and are now facing charges in violation of the Anti-Trafficking in Persons Act of 2003, Anti-Child Pornography Act of 2009, and the Special Protection of Children Against Abuse, Exploitation, and Discrimination Act.
Local social workers from the City Social Welfare and Development Office (CSWDO) are now caring for the children.
The children have undergone medico-legal examinations and medical checkups, as well as psychosocial interventions.
The City Government of Taguig has coordinated with a child-caring facility where they will be taken care of.
Taguig City Mayor Lani Cayetano has assured that the city's fight against child exploitation continues. The city has rescued 50 child victims since 2022.
"There is no place in our city for such abuses. We will not allow children to be mistreated, especially at the hands of those who should love and care for them. In Taguig, our resolve is firm - children are always safe and always have a future," said an assertive Cayetano.
