Observing the National No-Smoking Month, the Taguig Smoke-Free Task Force, together with the officials of Barangay Bagumbayan, removed posted cigarette advertisements last Monday, June 15, 2026.
These were replaced with reminders that smoking is prohibited in public places.
They also painted the walls from where the cigarette advertisements were removed, in accordance with City Ordinance No. 15, Series of 2017, or the Comprehensive Smoke-Free Ordinance of Taguig.
This activity is part of the ongoing goal of the City Government to halt smoking in public places and protect residents from advertisements that encourage smoking.
