The Southwest Monsoon, locally known as Habagat, will continue to pour rain over the country from tonight until tomorrow afternoon, July 13, 2026.
This is still the case despite Typhoon Inday (Bavi) having left the country yesterday morning, July 11, 2026.
The Department of Science and Technology's Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (DOST-PAGASA) also spotted a low pressure area (LPA) this afternoon at 2:00, July 2026, that is still outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) and currently has a low chance of turning into a typhoon. It is situated 1,800 kilometers east of Eastern Visayas.
Based on PAGASA's weather forecast, heavy rains will occur between tonight and tomorrow afternoon in the following areas (50-100 mm): Ilocos Sur, La Union, Benguet, Pangasinan, Zambales, Bataan, and Occidental Mindoro.
