This Wednesday, January 22, 2025, senior citizens aged 80, 85, 90, 95, and 100 years old in Taguig City are invited to validate their age in order to receive an additional cash gift from the national government, as well as a congratulatory letter from President Ferdinand Marcos, Jr. for those turning 100 on their birthday.

Taguig elderly residents of the mentioned ages (who are capable of going personally) can visit the Taguig Center for the Elderly on Ipil Ipil Street, North Signal Taguig City until 4:00 PM today.

Under the Expanded Centenarians Act of Republic Act 11982, the government will provide 10,000 pesos when reaching the age of 80, 85, 90, and 95. This is in addition to the cash gift provided by the Taguig city government to seniors reaching this age.

One hundred thousand pesos will be given to those who reach the age of 100 on their birthday, in addition to a congratulatory letter from the President of the Philippines.

This is also in addition to the ₱100 given by the Taguig City Government.

Here are the steps to register:

STEP 1: Download the application form from www.ncsc.gov.ph and fill it out. You may also obtain the application form from the OSCA Taguig office.

STEP 2: Prepare the following documents:
a. Application form
b. Original and photocopy of one of the PRIMARY DOCUMENTS:
• PSA Birth certificate
• National ID card
c. 2 x 2 ID picture
d. Full body print picture of the beneficiary on A4 size bond paper or photo paper
e. Endorsement letter from the City/ Municipal mayor where the beneficiary resides

STEP 3: If there are no PRIMARY DOCUMENTS, you may submit two (2) SECONDARY DOCUMENTS:

FOR RESIDENTS IN THE PHILIPPINES:
• Philippine Passport
• Certificate of Late Registration or Birth (Original, issued/authenticated by PSA)
• Senior Citizens' ID, issued by OSCA
• LTO-Issued Driver's license
• GSIS or SSS ID
• PRC License
• Philippine Postal ID
• COMELEC Voter's ID (showing Filipino citizenship and year of birth)
• National Commission on Indigenous Peoples (NCIP) Certification
• National Commission on Muslim Filipinos (NCMF) Certification
• Certificate of Live Birth of eldest child
• Marriage certificate
• Joint Affidavit of 2 disinterested persons who personally know the beneficiary
• School or employment records
• Certificate or Membership from retirement and pension insurance

FOR THOSE RESIDING ABROAD:
• Citizen Retention and Reacquisition Certificate and Identification Certificate
• Order of Approval
• Oath of Allegiance
• Order of Attestation from the Philippine Embassy, Philippine Consulate General or DFA
• Overseas Voting Card or Affidavit
• Foreign Driver's License
• Medical or health card

STEP 4: Submit the application form and required documents to OSCA Taguig.

For Filipinos living abroad, submit the documents to the Philippine Embassy, Philippine Consulate General, Department of Migrant Workers or Commission on Filipinos Overseas.

HOW ABOUT INDIGENOUS PEOPLE WHO DO NOT HAVE A PSA BIRTH CERTIFICATE?
Submit the following documents:
• Original certificate issued by the National Commission on Indigenous People (NCIP) attesting to the age or circumstances concerning the applicant
• Late registration must be done in accordance with JMC No. 2021-01 issued by the PSA or The Revised Guidelines for Delayed Birth Registration of Birth

HOW ABOUT MUSLIMS WHO DO NOT HAVE A PSA BIRTH CERTIFICATE?
Submit the following documents:
• Original certificate issued by the National Commission on Muslim Filipinos (NCMF) attesting to the age or circumstances concerning the applicant
• Late registration must be done in accordance with JMC No. 2021-01 issued by the PSA or The Revised Guidelines for Delayed Birth Registration of Birth

IMPORTANT REMINDER:
• The requirements must be submitted four (4) to six (6) months before the claimant's birthday
• If the actual beneficiary cannot apply, a representative is allowed. Just bring a Special Power of Attorney signed by the beneficiary.
