Two fifteen-year-old boys and a 36-year-old man were caught with 51 grams of suspected illegal drugs in a buy-bust operation carried out by the Taguig City Police personnel in Barangay Rizal, Taguig City.

An agent from the Taguig City Police Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) posed as a buyer of illegal drugs to the suspects on July 6, 2026, at 7:40 PM, on Cattleya Street.

One heat-sealed plastic sachet of suspected methamphetamine, also known as shabu, was confiscated from a fifteen-year-old referred to as a Child in Conflict with the Law (CICL).

The 36-year-old individual and another fifteen-year-old boy were also arrested after seven more heat-sealed plastic sachets and a large transparent plastic bag containing additional suspected methamphetamine, concealed in a gray belt bag, were recovered from them.

In total, 51.39 grams of suspected shabu, with an estimated street value of PHP 349,452.00, were seized from the suspects.

In compliance with existing juvenile justice procedures and to protect their welfare, the underage suspects were taken to the Bahay Pag-asa (House of Hope) to help them reform their lives and to provide them with psychosocial services.

The 36-year-old suspect is currently in police custody and has been charged with Possession of Dangerous Drugs (Section 11, Article II of Republic Act 9165).
