Typhoon Nando has slightly increased its speed as it heads toward the Philippine Sea, according to the latest report from the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) at 11:00 am on September 19, 2025.
The tropical storm, bearing the international name Ragasa, was spotted with its center about 1,005 kilometers east of Central Luzon.
It carries wind speeds of 75 kilometers per hour near the center, with gusts up to 90 kilometers per hour.
The storm is moving at a speed of 20 kilometers per hour.
Heavy rain is expected as a result of Typhoon Nando and the southwest monsoon on Sunday, September 21, 2025.
Wind Signal No. 1 may be raised over Northern Luzon tomorrow, September 20, 2025, and the highest wind signal might reach No. 5.
The following areas are expected to receive rain today:
• Ilocos Region, Zambales, Bataan, Bicol Region, and Eastern Visayas
Tomorrow (September 20):
• Bicol Region, Eastern Visayas, and Caraga
Sunday (September 21):
• Bicol Region, Visayas, Northern Mindanao, and Caraga
