It was spotted 260 kilometers east of Juban, Sorsogon, carrying winds of 65 kilometers per hour near its center and gusts reaching 80 kilometers per hour.
It is forecasted to make landfall in Catanduanes or pass close to it later this afternoon or evening.
Subsequently, the typhoon will pass near Vinzons, Camarines Norte, and Polillo Islands by tomorrow morning, October 19.
It's possible that it will only make one landfall in either Aurora or Isabela. It's also expected to exit the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) on the morning of October 20, Monday.

There exists a possibility for Wind Signal Number 3 warning to be raised due to Typhoon Ramil.
The typhoon, along with the easterlies, will bring rain to the provinces of Luzon, including Metro Manila, this October 18, 2025.
