During an operation carried out by the Southern Police District Drug Enforcement Unit, the woman known as Melinda, 37, and her two associates, alias Hawadi, a 49-year-old tricycle driver, and alias Zanora, 26, were apprehended.
The three suspects were found in possession of 50 grams of suspected shabu (methamphetamine).
Participating in the buy-bust operation were the DID-SPD, DSOU-SPD, DMFB-SPD, PDEA-SDO, and Police Sub-station 2 of Taguig City.
The suspects will be charged with violating Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act.

This successful operation sends a clear message: we will not relent in our efforts to uphold the law and ensure the safety of our people," stated Police Brig. General Mark Pespes, Director of the Southern Police District.
